The Big Tidy Up Saturday 19th March 2016

A great Big Tidy Up happened around the town centre last Saturday.  Around 20 intrepid volunteers including town councillors Mark Ashwell, Martin Bishop, Peter Lucey, Gwynneth Hewetson, Tony Lack, Imogen Shepherd-DuBey and borough councillor Dianne King collected 32 large bags of recyclables and rubbish.  Among the items removed from the public space were a skateboard, a computer keyboard, an estate agent’s board, a bread board, a 70s CD with Chairmen of the Board on, a cheese board, a small blackboard, a child’s dartboard, a clipboard and lots of cardboard.  No one was bored!

Many, many thanks to everyone who took part.  You really made a difference. The group
